I just ordered a new Miller 211 Inverter welder. I'm trying to get my shop setup for it today. My question is this: I currently have roughly 50' of 10/2 wire going from my breaker box across my shop to a 50amp outlet that a window a/c unit runs off of. I believe its tied into a 30 amp breaker but I'd have to look to be sure. Will this outlet work fine for the welder or is the length of run too long? According to the wire calculators I've used and the Miller manual I should be fine, but I want a couple more opinions.
Thanks.
Thanks.
