Welder/plasma cart

a build I did a while back and have had a few request to see it.

Here are the pictures of it as it went together. all stock was .120 wall mild steel

the tank clamp is a 3/8" solid bar stock I bent in my ring roller

I wanted an on board water separator for the plasma cutter so I built a cage to keep me from breaking it

A sturdy shelf is always handy

A couple hooks for the leads, and a lower shelf for the spool gun, helmets, wire etc.

sure does look top heavy, I would want the mig on the bottom to keep from tipping over

scary looks like you spent some time in my garage while I was gone, just about all the same welding gear, plasma, and helmet. only difference is the mig I have an older millermatic 175. oh and your welders are much cleaner looking then mine.

Yes, weight of the bottle holds it down. You got to have a place to set the hood and a couple tools. Nice setup, good to move around shop.

robert who was the original builder you copied. I really love the angled uprights and i want to make sure i make mine so it will not tip over. mine will have two bottles a miller 211 near the bottom and a squarewave 200 along with a plasma. am i over thinking this to make it so with all the welders on it and no bottle it should still stand upright or are the bottles a must to keep it from tipping.

The bases is quite large and very stable.
