I hope there is somebody out there that can tell me if this high frequency welder is worth selling. I swapped a friend many years ago for this and I only used it once back in the day.

That is not a welder itself. It is designed to be used with a stick welding power source for tig welding. The HF allows you to initiate the arc without touching the work piece w/ the tungsten (scratch start). It would allow you to do aluminum.

Sorry about not mentioning that it works in conjunction with an arc welder which I have. Do you think anybody would be interested in buying it or is it just garbage now.

Possibly for something to play around with. I don't think your are exactly sitting on a pile of money though. Never know till you try.

Most the folks I know that run tig rigs like that out in the field just use it for DC and scratch start.

Might try the WeldingWeb or other welding focused forms, lot of folks looking for used equipment on there.
