I have a Millermatic M35 with a small wirefeed gun for 023 wire. I need to source tips for the gun, but it may be out of date. The tips fit into a chinch clamp with the nozzle tip.

Manual can be downloaded from here for free:

Referencing this version of the Millermatic 35 manual, the part number is MIL087299 for a .023 contact tip (page 65).

Searching that part number yielded numerous results from all the usual places - Cyberweld, Amazon, Airgas, etc.

I'll have to attach some pics, my MIG gun is not the usual style. Mine has a rubber collar round the gun that I can squeeze in any position to fire it.

It sounds like you have the old style MM35 gun. Later on in production Miller changed the style gun mount to what is known has their "Miller gun connection". The new style gun takes easy to find tips. I know there is a gun upgrade kit for the MM35. A Buddy mine has an early MM35 and around 2000 his gun wore out and he went to the local welding store and they sold him a new gun and upgrade kit.

Here are pics of my MIG gun, contact tip and nozzle. Note the contact tip has no threads on it. The nozzle when screwed on creates a clamping action on the contact tip. So far I have not found the Miller part number for the contact tip. 20250918_155224.jpg20250918_155254.jpg
The 2nd pic shows a contact tip in the gun without the nozzle attached and one below of the tip itself. That wider bkack portion of the gun is the switch. I can squeeze it anywhere around that black rubber section and the gun will trigger. Not sure that Miller makes that gun anymore or has parts for it.

Hey neighbor! (I'm a couple of hours west of you). It's been years since I've seen that style gun and I haven't seen that old tip style since then. I'm afraid you may be stuck with upgrading to a new gun.
