Welder woes! Any ideas?

My Hobart Ironman 210 stopped working this afternoon. It worked fine this morning!

I pull the trigger, wire feeds but no arc. Bad ground? No. Chucked a piece of freshly ground 1/4" plate in the vise, grounded directly to the metal.......no arc. Wire brushed the ground clamp and checked both ends of the ground wire. Nothing loose. I highly doubt the copper ground wire is broken inside the cable as I take very good care of my stuff and I always coil the cable up loosely in large circles when I'm done welding. I bought it virtually new in 2011. Always stored inside. I use it a couple of times a week. Anyone have any ideas??

DC? Rectifier broken?
Probably not a hard fix for a tech.

Have you checked the input power??
If I remember correctly,only one side of the 220 has to be there to feed wire.

Do you hear a loud click when you hit the trigger?

If the wire feeds, its most likely not the gun trigger.

Check power side. Something is loose. Verify power at input lug inside welder, trace from there.

OK, 230v at the switch going in and coming out. From there wires go to the transformer and come out. I don't get any readings anywhere else (input lugs or otherwise). Keep in mind my electrical knowledge is very basic! The wire feeds, everything is tight and the fan turns on. I need to dig out my owners manual and take a look. Who would repair welders? I buy my gas and consumables at Matheson and they sell welders. I assume they can troubleshoot and repair also? I posted on Hobart's WeldTalk also but no responses yet.
