Part of it is understanding what you are doing. Having an attitude that it is ok to learn and screw up on customers cars is not good. Doing alleged research by asking a bunch of people on a forum what they think is not acceptable.
I am not sure why I am entertaining this post from you, again...but I will just say this. Is that the attitude I had? Was that what I meant when I said that? NO. I said if I chose to butcher up welds and just wing it..ok...a bad choice on my part but none the less my choice. That was only brought up because I was looking for information on Mig welders and just welding itself. Period. I didn't need scolded or parented. I wanted to see some real world opinions and thoughts. If that is too much to ask for ,
then the second statement of your post makes complete sense. If that wasn't asking for too much, then your second statement makes me ask what on earth are you ever doing on a forum. Just saying :headscrat

So your aim is to be an idiot good choice.
I hope when you hurt somebody it is in your family or yourself.

Okaaay... I think it's time for this thread to die.

All the man asked for was some advice on a welder for putting exhausts together. I'm sure the kid at the Meineke shop is nuclear certified.
