Any tips?
Sorry for the late reply. Haven't been online for a couple days.

I've done MIG and TIG before but prefer MIG. Just clean off all the paint and plug weld one hole at time. Then hit it with a wet rag to cool it and move to the next hole.

There is a a bunch of mass in the laminations to soak up the heat momentarily until you cool it with the wet rag.
