Welding Area - Critiques Welcome

So I thought I'd post a pic of a new configuration I'm going to try out in my work place (high school welding lab). Any critiques or thoughts on changes, additions/subtractions are welcome. Right now it stands pretty much as the 3D model, except for the dropdown fume ventilation system. We are currently waiting on a quote for this work.

correct - google sketchup, just new the very basics of using sketchup so I sat down and maybe in half a day had it figured out and and finished my model of my workspace.

Cool. . .I know a LOT of people use Google Sketch-Up at home, but I have never tried. I have never really tried to do a room/building in a CAD program before. . .only machines/equipment and I have SolidEdge and SolidWorks for that. I took a couple architectural drafting classes at my local CC and one of them used the AutoCAD Architecture program which would have been really cool to learn, but the program was full of bugs at the time so we could never get it to work. . .

. . .I'll have to give Sketch-Up a try since I'm getting ready to start laying out my garage re-organization/expansion.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread. . .how big is your welding lab? Any chance you could post the pictures in a way that they are larger when you open them? It's difficult to see much with the small pictures. . .what I can see looks good.
