Welding Exhaust Vent

What are people doing to exhaust welding fumes? Looking for a decent cheap method for the occasional welding. In the summer months leaving the garage door open should do the trick but once the cold weather hits that wont be an option.

If you have a window in your garage, stick a box fan on the windowsill and turn it on low speed, with the fan blowing the air outside. That's what I do, but then again I live in southern California where "cold" is anything below 65°F
