Man you are so wrong, about the head gear. Is your head pointed could that be the problem?
The best feature, the auto on and off of my Miller DE. Meaning pick it up put it on, touch nothing, start welding it goes dark. The only thing I was not real happy with, facing any bright light, Sun or 100watt light bulb caused it to go dark.
Then read a post talking about a setting, when selected the window goes dark only when the welding begins .....light intensity has zero effect. Very, very cool feature, a home run for my money it is the best of brand.
Miller just released an interesting concept and for less than 3 bills I might have to try it out
