I have the a Turbine Products supplied air system. I have the half mask version and also the hood (for 2K paint). I've been happy with it for painting projects.
I subsequently purchased the weld hood adapter and it was one of the worst designed products I've ever purchased. It's way too large to fit inside any welding helmet made in the last 30 years. I left a 1* review back when it was listed on Amazon (where I purchased it) but they refused to let the same review be published on the actual Turbine site
I spent $30 having a leather tailor alter it (the clear window is massive) but it's still way too large and cumbersome to work under either of my welding helmets and I'm not really inclined to try the dedicated helmet given the above experience and the lack of photos of the actual product.
Are there any other helmets (or better inner hoods) that would work with a turbine style supplied air pump? Most of the ones I see are designed to work with the small belt operated air systems.
I'm looking for more protection when welding stainless or just smoky materials.
