I've looked @ millers/lincoln/harbor/usaweld/menards/home depot/grainger,,,what's the buy of the day?,just small welding(less than 1/4")no alum/stainless steel welding thanks

go to a store that has a few, maybe even a welding supply shop. try a bunch on, see how they feel for how you are typically going to use it..... ie, standing up, sitting down, do you have to have full movement with your head, do you need to constantly flip it up and down.

find one that fits good, has the viewing lens you want, and plenty of adjustment so you can set it however you feel.

after the feel part its more up to how much you like a brand

never seen a 4"x5" magnifier.....

I just have Huntsman 711P TIG helmets set up with lenses from 7-10 and different magnifiers with sheepskin pads

works for me:)

I bought this: http://store.cyberweld.com/hohoweheblxv1.html when I bought my Handler 140. Very nice helmet and not horrifically expensive either. The headgear on it is very comfortable and quite adjustable too.

The headgear in the pic looks identical to my Miller Digital Elite. The lense area looks very similar as well. Perhaps they are one in the same?

For the OP, if you can wait until cyber Monday you might (fingers crossed) find a deal at Zoro Tools, they list several helmets.

Hobart and Miller are owned by the same company now. The Hobart Pro line is very close to the Miller Digital Elite, but not exactly the same. There are a couple features the Hobart line lacks, but it's still a great helmet.
