i think its the best hood for under 50.00 bucks . i like that the battery is replaceable and all the different settings and they look good. if you do alot of welding i would recommend a speedglas even though they cost alot more. i own alot of hoods but i wear my speedglas 98% of the time.

I have one a love it. No problems with being flashed. Very quick reaction time.
I've only used it with Fluxed core and MIG, not TIG though, so can't comment there.
