I am living in a rental house. But I would really like to keep a motorcycle at the house. However, I live in the ghetto. New Orleans. The whole city is a giant ghetto. I have a crappy gate that is useless.

So, since I just built a teardrop camper/trailer frame a few months back, I had some scraps laying around. And I figured why not build a gate with it?

Since I don't wanna buy anymore steel, I had to weld a few pieces together.

Here is are pieces of 2" pipe that will set in the concrete footings:

Cutting the regular steel with a crappy Ryobi miter saw. Works wonderfully.

Welded the 2" pipe to 2" square tubing.

All the rust sanded off:

Pole #1 primed:

Had to weld two pieces of square tubing together to make it long enough:

Both primed:

As soon as this rain stops, I'll put them up and start on the gate. Which will have a metal frame with inset boards from recycled wood pallets.
