One thing I have notice is guys who have tools but, not someone in a trade really using them will buy the same things over and over. They will have four 300 piece craftsman socket sets floating around. 50 8" adjustables. Seven cordless drills. 10,000 1/4 bits. But won't have anything one tiny notch above the most common of tools.

I now shop at my own place.

Just found a 1/3HP Baldor bench grinder that I didn't know I had.

When I come across a possession, I look at it and ask myself, "Will I use this?" And, "Where does it go?"

If I don't have both a use AND a place for it, it goes away, either sold, donated or tossed.
