Well, not really new, been lurking watching a lot of the threads.I ve really enjoyed what everyone has to say. It's nice to know that I'm not alone in my love of a personal workshop, tools, tinkering, auctions, estate sales, tools, rehabing older shop machines, and did I mentions tools.

My background: Have a 28' X 38' recylced horse barn, ( had to build a 24'X56' new barn for my wife to get this) always a work in progress. Took over this building in 05' with a drawn layout, worked great until the second weekend on moving from the garage. Then we were planning on moving out of state (KY) , but the hosing down here just died. So I just renewed my effort for a organized shop.

I do some wood working, lot of welding, mechanical on mowers and what ever else needs to be fixed. My son usally has a four wheeler at some stage of splatter.

My plan is to have just about everthing on casters, minimal sheving and most storage in drawer cabinets. I have a assortment of Old miltary Kennedy boxes, a Stanely Vidmar, Craftsman, Lista, and older micorfinch cabs.

Anyway, enjoyed all the ideas and will be veiwing quite a bit.

I'll post some pic's if you all promise not to laugh.

Craig
