Thanks, so far I can't see the cracks that were repaired (I used a stone to smooth it over). Now I am not an expert but this seems like a pretty serious product. Nothing will get it off my hands, no amount of scrubbing, hand cleaner thinner or even Methol Ethol Keytone MEK. I tried to use latex gloves but they stuck, becme soft and tore quickly. I put on rubber gloves but small amounts were on everything I worked with so I am wearing some of it.
I covered the first two bays completely and was into the second on just the first 5 gallon container alone. I still have 7.5 gallons left
My friend was the one who helped me aquire the product, he does this for a living but unforetunetly he lives 2 states away. I called him with any and all questions I had before doing anything. He said there was no need to scrub the acid in during etching, no need to wait 3 minutes, he said it would fiz and turn green quickly. He was correct. I am very happy so far.

Whenever I get Gorilla Glue on my hands I end up having to sand it off. *****, but that is the only thing that will remove it. Try some 150 grit, I find it is gentle on the skin and works wonders as an exfoliator.

Where can you find this "NEOGARD URETHAND R7442"? Sounds like good stuff. But also sounds like you really need to be careful putting it on.

Actually application was simple. I am just a novice who wanted to get it right so i asked allot of questions. It's as simple as cleaning/etching the floor and mixing and rolling out the coating. It came nice too. It's tacking up well an should be ready for a second coat in the AM.

UPDATE coat 2 is down started at 10:05AM and finished about 12:00 the clean up took a few extra minutes. Today I wore latex gloves inside the leather gloves to help keep things neater . Floor was cured but just a tad tacky. I will let this coat cure all day and possibly add heat tonight to speed the curing process. I leave for overseas on Monday and want be able to put my tool box's, shelf unit, and compressor back in place. My wife can move the vehicles in later.

Typically how long before you can safely roll a tool box (I can use card board runners) drive on this type stuff

I wouldn't do it until at least a week later. I wouldn't want to chance it.

Spark I only acid etched it, was a new floor in good shape and my friend the professional only aviced me of acid etching. I used a 1 part water to 3 parts acid. It goes on and fizz's turns greenish and thats about it. I saw a floor done in the standrd type (rustolium I think) it appeared very thin.

Things to remember ventalation of garage and attached house if applicable.
Large portions of cardboard are helpful at the edge of the garage door to step onto and pour more flooring as needed.

A slip on pair of shoes and easy bathroom arrangements, maybe an extra clean pair of shoes. Stepping in and out of the gargae can track things in. Stepping out can get product on your drive way if you are sloppy.

Extra rollers the stuff i used is heavy and was hard on the rollers. #/4" heavy nap rollers are reccomended. They put it down thicker.

Folks here informed me to keep the driveway wet so I used to hoses one for the driveway and the other to neutralize and wash the acid from the garage.

A squeegie is a must, as is a decent size roller handle extension.

sorry I did not respond I was busy moving myself to my new military remote assignment. I'll be gone for awhile so thats why I chose to do it while it was still cold.
