I started working on cars when I was 14 years old roughly. My dad got tired of me in the garage at the house so he built this barn... years later he added on a single car garage addition which I have taken over..literally haha. Now I'm 23 and over the past few months starts to get my own tools. My dad already had all the common stuff so I invested in the specialty items. Now I'm getting all my wrenches and etc. Also included a few pictures of the drag car I'm building.

Nicely done. I wish I had worked hard on my car hobbies at an earlier age. I started at 16, but it quickly tappered off for school and early career stuff, didn't get back to it until 28 or 29 years old.

Hopefully you pass you vigor for cars along to others too.
I very so much intend to... regardless I if I have a girl or boy. They will know how to turn a wrench

I like the motorcycle lift in the ground....i thought about doing that in my shop...

The lift is on the floor and then a "box" built around it so we can unload and load the lift with out assistants if need be, plus it gives us a boost when working.

Nice space. Did you do all the work and plumbing on your engine?
I see air lines going outside - is the compressor outside?

I agree with the insuation - won't take you long!

How do you like that jack? They have those at Costco here for $89, I'm real tempted to replace my ancient Hein Werner and Craftman floor jacks.

I see some LP heat in that garage, some insulation will go a long way at keeping it warm.
Theres insulates up in the rafters where the sofit is. The black sheets help keep the "car" side of the shop warm and it warms up in about 10-15 mins now. To the point I have to turn it off for a few or take my jacket off

The air compressor is outside, the whole length of the wall (for both the car side and motorcycle side) have a lend too if you will. where we park the tractor and etc.

I did the top end of the motor, I had good friend of mine build the bottom in and get it netural/ zero balanced and etc.

I love it, thinking about going to get another one for when I need two jacks honestly.
