I know nothing about tool belts. This one looks real nice, but damn, $200? Although I have heard of these high quality belts lasting over 50 years.

$200? just think, you could spend $10-20 on a junk one from harbor freight and have it fall apart in a couple months. Then be pissed every time it happens, and after buying 3 or 4 junk ones, end up buying a good one made in USA. In my eyes $200 is a heck of a bargain. i give you two thumbs up! keep the american work force goin.

Occidental is pretty much the gold standard for this kind of stuff. You'll be passing that down to your grandkids.

I don't know where you got that info.

I had a cheap import from HD when I worked for an electrician, used it for 2 years, 6 days a week. it was still fine before I left for other line of works.

Occidental Leather is the best! I bought mine in 1985 (for $150) and I used it for 17 years until I got out of construction. After a "break in" period to get it to conform to your waist/hips, it was almost like not even having it on (for 8-10 hours a day). As a bonus, the large main pockets allowed me to carry WAY more stick nails than my buddies so I didn't have to go fill up as often. The way I customized mine also let me carry all my everyday tool. Good luck and I'm sure you will really appreciate your purchase. BTW, I still have mine and have to dig it out soon when I build my house and shop. Just looked at yours...mine is a carpenters belt but I do have the sheepskin lining. You will reall like it.

I bought mine 21 years ago and it's one of the best investments that I have ever made. Just remember, about every 2 months, dump out you bags to remove the misc. 5lbs that will accumulate in the big bags
