After years of procrastination and bad habits I am beginning the "get the shop set up" project.

Building was built 35 years ago and is in great shape except that it has been used for family storage for most of its life. I am as guilty as anyone despite spending most of this time far away working.

I have spent most of the last months free time doing a tool roundup and cleaning out my brothers garage which has been the focus of our projects.

The procrastination is due to the sheer scope of the project. Having spent MANY years with this project in the back of my mind I have discovered that I have most of the material to complete the project but they have been hidden away under all the **** that 30 years of accumulation and often forgotten.

Broke it down into many sub-projects and one just came about...I have electricity as of 4:00 today!

I intend to do a couple of updates weekly to keep my feet to the fire.
I am asking for your support to badger me and point out my hoarder tendencies.

I will post some pics so you can see all the ghastly glory of the **** snowball I have built over the years. All I ask is for you to call it like you see it...don't enable me.

Been there done that. Mine was piled nearly to the roof with junk..until recently. I bought the home in 88...if that tells you anything.

I have had support of family and friends to get me started, but I can honestly say that the people on this forum have helped tremendously. It hard to force the "I may need that" tendencies out of my head.

Look through the many garage threads, tool box thread, organization threads on here. You will be inspired. I am unable to do a lot at once, but it is 1000% times better than it was to begin with.
