Well Tee fitting for 1 inch pvc water line?

My current fitting looks like this.. it's from the Tee, which is brass or bronze to 3/4" PVC..

Because I'm going to be adding a sediment filter and water softener, I want to to to 1" PVC. Do they make a female version of the fitting in the pic for 1 inch PVC or am I going to have to use a copper 1" female fitting, like the one below, then use a transition piece to go to PVC?

With 3/4" threads and 1" PVC.

Why not just use a solid PVC one with no metal?

I avoid PVC fittings with male threads whenever possible. They are much weaker than their female counterparts when it comes to allowable torque. Some of it is probably just me tightening it like its a piece of black iron pipe but I have broken enough to not want to use them any more.

Plumb your hose bibs upstream of the sediment filter and the water softener. Place your sediment filter vertically above a slop sink so the spillage from filter change-out is contained. Likewise, put the hose bibs on a single shut off with the bleed port vertically above the slop sink. Plumb the cold side of the slop sink with unfiltered unsoftened water so that it is available to clean out the sediment bowl.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for!

The reason I'm looking for a metal end is because I have an issue with over torquing things...

BTW, What I found was that I have CPVC, not PVC, so what you posted might be what I need!!
