Went over to help a friend with some car trouble and after we were done and I was leaving he says hey I have some thing I know you can use. His son used to Off Road race in the JeepSpeed Class. Brian is not racing any more, do you want his engine stand? I think about 1 second and say, you betcha. Thanks!

I have the opposite friends. I help them and they end up taking something I have. Way to go.

Nice score! I always liked those stands with the gear reduction rotator. It's a big help when you play with iron head BBCs...

Nice looking engine stand, I'd guess that stand was upwards of 200 bucks.

It has a NAPA tag, can't read the number. It was pretty oxidized from sitting out in the sun but it cleaned up pretty good. Lubed it up and its ready to go. Pleased to have it, especially for the price!

Nice engine stand. I need to get a better one.. I don't think building one makes financial sense but I might do it anyway.

Had a friend that made one using a trailer hub & spindle, came out pretty nice actually. Turned the hub down and welded it in to the upright, made up a 1/2" plate and welded that to the spindle.
