Don't have a HF store really close to me, but I was in Kennesaw, GA today on other business, so I stopped by the one there. Went in armed with TWO 20%-off (original, not reprinted) coupons and my "Inside Track Club" card & sales paper. New coupon restrictions were clearly displayed. I was looking for a couple of the 1/4" drive, 99-cent socket rails, but they only had ONE in stock. :headscrat
Anyway, finally ended up burning one of the "20%-off & free flashlight" coupons on the Earthquake Impact wrench that I've heard nothing but good things about. Regularly $99.99, on sale for $89.99, so I got it for $71.99 + tax with coupon. For 2:00 P.M. on a Friday afternoon, the place was very busy.

I too bargain hunt for the better Harbor Freight items. The Fargo ND store is the one that I shop at. I've never been there when it wasn't full of people.

Too bad 'bout the new coupon restrictions.

I picked up a 3 ton "Racing" jack yesterday, it lifts my Ranger pickup with ease. The price was 40% off, so I couldn't complain. It's the nicest jack I've ever had. Then I dropped by a pawn shop and picked up a 2 ton jack for 17$ and it works better than any of the others I've had at home for years.

Picked up the last two 1/2" (Taiwan) ratchets the had in the store. These are the ones in the clam shell packaging. All of the others have the black tab that holds the ratchet to the display.

I lived in Kennesaw for many years, been to that HF many times. You should of made a trip down the road to Northern Tool in Marietta, it's worth a visit.

Retired my old Bluepoint and use the Earthquake 1/2" now. Same power in a lighter wrench.

Manager at the Orange, Ca store I go to runs a tight ship. The minute somebody can come off a register they are either on a broom or restocking and straightening out shelves. Everyone that walks in the door is greeted, and gets offered the insiders club before they leave.

I haven't seen a bad Earthquake review yet.

The coupon restriction flyers were pulled from my HF. There were a few of us that complained about adding restrictions after the coupons were printed and distributed.

I bought a motorcycle jack for my brother using the 20% coupon. Initially they refused to honor the coupon stating the new policy. After the manager came over I asked him to show me on the coupon where floor jacks were excluded. He quoted the flyers. I asked him if they mailed flyers to every HF customer stating the changes. He gave me a weird look, and said Okay, just for you.

I said, no, you can't give one person a deal and not another. It plainly states on the coupon what the restrictions are, making the flyers meaningless. Two weeks later all the flyers were down.

I haven't been to the one in Kennesaw. The new one in Athens is larger, better organized and has a much better selection than the one in Lilburn...
