Wera ratcheting wrenches... Anyone use em?

I need a metric ratcheting wrench set and I'm drawn to Wera simply because I like the way they look... Anyone use these? Happy with them? Any feedback at all before I blow $200?

No experience, but most Wera products are pretty well engineered. I am tempted by these as well. Time for you to pony up the money and then give us a review Ryan

I was just gifted a Wera Joker auto-adjustable, it's a neat design as well.

These wrenches **** so bad... specifically the open end. ANY wrench from HF is better. I was intrigued and let it get the better of me... they are a JOKE.

Open end is gimmicky garbage and it being straight *****. Box end on the ones you posted have the usual issues with non-reversible (knuckle clearance, chance of trapping wrench etc). They have reversible too which are fine but nothing special.

They are well made though, I'll give them that. I would look elsewhere>

I have the non-ratcheting double-open end set from last years advent calendar. I used them once. Maybe I find a use for them once, but at the moment I am not a big fan and rather grab the regular wrenches I own from stahlwille. Don't own ratcheting wrenches.

They are nice, but the lack of 15mm, 16mm, and 18mm might not work for everyone.

Apparently the 12 point open end can be useful for extra access. I think they have some merit but may not be for everyone. I don't own them, but almost bought a set a year ago and watched this video then:

I like Wera stuff a lot. I kinda like the extra "thing" on the open end of the Wera wrenches. You can put them on a nut on, say, a threaded rod, and not have to carefully balance the open end on the nut as you turn the rod.

Otherwise, I need another set of ratcheting box wrenches like I need a hole in my head. It's a hard sell.

Project Farm tested these a year or so ago and the Wera didn't do very well. You could look at that test to eliminate some brands, but obviously there are new and discontinued items since then. I'm personally more of a DBE flex ratcheting fan, so I won't offer any input other than I like my older Tekton, Mountain, EZ Red.....
