Wera screwdrivers

Been looking at wera tools mainly at the plus line which are the chisel drivers. I was wondering if any one has had experience with them if so I would greatly appreciate your comments.

I have a set of the Wera chiseldrivers. I love them. I haven't struck them yet, but as regular screwdrivers, they are great! Very comfortable to use, haven't had any cam-out issues. I will definitely be buying more Wera screwdrivers in the future, when I come across a situation when I need something other than the ones I currently have.

High quality for sure. I just don't find the handles comfortable.

Wera drivers are very highly regarded. Especially their bits. In the USA they don't have as much as a prevalence as brands like Craftsman, SK, wright, klein and of course the truck brands. It is pretty much those that have them, know and specifically purchased them for that purpose. I've been really wanting one of their KK27 ratcheting screwdrivers, just looks awesome. Some day. What really appeals to me is that the handles look very similar to the old black craftsman professional screwdrivers, which are my favorite screwdrivers thus far. I'd purchase them with confidence. Not the cheapest thing, but dang good quality. Only downside may be warranty availability.

My slotted screwdrivers are Chiseldrivers:

I carry the three largest with my in my go-bag and have been very happy with them. Only once can I recall using the largest as a chisel (when I lost my temper on a job and really wanted an electrical box to move!) and it seems no worse for wear as advertised.

Mine are older and German-made; I don't believe that's still the case...

I´m a pretty big Wera fan,

I think they are top notch

Some say their tips are little bit too soft, or the handle is uncomfortable?

But for me they are perfect, i can´t find a better screwdriver....

Ohhh...and that 900 series you are looking at, they can take alot of abuse!!

I sell Wera in my store and have zero issues. Had a 16" flat screwdriver bend the other day, they sent me a replacement including a six piece set as a gift.

When I was in a similar position such as yours (the OP), I was debating whether to try Wera or Wiha. As I did my research, i found several claims online (and take that with a pinch of salt), that Wera quality was going down hill and no longer being made in Germany. That made me decide on Wiha and I got a set of Wiha ESD screwdrivers for a project at work and I was very impressed with the Wiha. The tips gripped the philips heads so well, you can stick it in the screw head horizontally and let go and the screwdriver would stick. The handle was designed not to roll on a flat surface and surprisingly comfortable for what seems like a pretty simple design.

I can't really say anything about Wera since I never got them. But I was happy with my choice of getting some Wiha.

Speaking of grip, there is no better grip then Weras lasertip. Absolutely astonishing.
