Anyone know who makes WERA's sockets and where?
You get the in the Zyklop kits or as single sockets.

Acutally the wera tools COO is Czech Republic!!!! But the quality is as good as germany and or USA from what I have seen. I have three wera sets and the website tells you right on it because they are very honest in germany, that they are made in Czech Republic.

I think he's talking about the download-able catalog via Chad's website. :headscrat

I have this pet peeve: I dislike wobbly fitments on the female/male square drive ends. My two Wera extensions are prime examples. I don't have any sockets, so I can't say how they might be, but given that the extensions are produced in that manner, it wouldn't be surprising to me if I experience the same with the sockets. To each their own though.

I do, however, think they are very functional items that have good user-friendly features.

They used to have the info on the site when I bought all my stuff and they said was made in the czech republic, I can check my manuals with the stuff and I am pretty sure it also stated the COO as czech republic. I don't think they ever tried to hide the fact of where they have the stuff made.

Czech quality is just fine, particularly when it is over seen by a German company.

I have seen the COO being Czech Republic on the Green and ESD screwdrivers, either by marking on the singles packaging, sticker on single screwdrivers or by a few Drivers that have the marking on the handle.

Haven't found any marking on my yellow chisel drivers though.

Also wasnt sure if they made the sockets themselves

4 Diffrent ways of WERA marking their tools as made in Czech Republic or South Africa can be seen here

1) Marking on handle
2) Marking on singles Sticker
3) Marking on singles Packet
4) Box

Many others, especially box sets have no markings.

The cheaper line ones made here in South Africa only gives the COO on the box
