So, a buddy of mine tipped me off to the Joker line of wrenches by Wera. They look really effing nice. I like the sating chrome finish on a lot of their tools. Their sockets look well crafted as well.

What says the hive mind on Wera? I know that some of them at least are produced in the Czech republic. I certainly don't mind the notion of having some Euro tools in my toolbox.

Their screwdrivers/bits are among the best out there.
I have some joker wrenches, they are very nice and holds up very well.
I made a test of the rachetfunction with my 13mm wrench and stood on it and it held for that. (my weight is 95kg).

I have pretty much wera tools and they have never failed.
my reasoning is as follows, if you only make screwdrivers(almost), you gonna be damn good
because all your buisness trust on that, same goes for Knipex.
The best about Wera are their innovations and quality.
Here are some:

I love them! I think their bits and screwdrivers have the best value and a lot of different sizes available.

I have seen some footage of the techs at Mercedes AMG and Porsche use their screwdrivers. You can see below a Mercedes AMG tech has two brands of screwdrivers on his engine cart, one being a recognizable Wera.

They perform on par with Zephyr, Apex, and Wiha. The laser marking on the Wera is clean, simple, and legible. The PB Swiss are hard to read. I tolerated Wiha before; but I refuse to buy their bits now.

My favorite is this really 00 Phillips from Wera; they are extremely uncommon as a bit yet very useful for electronics. Now I wish they made Japanese Industrial Standard as well.

Wera also helps Snap-on. The pop-up Instinct screwdriver and diamond bits are made by Wera.

They make nice stuff. Check out Wiha as well. KC Tools supports this site and carries those brands and others.

They do make nice stuff. I've only come across them a couple of times but they impressed me.

Everything about my Wera screwdrivers feels right. I have a set of hard handles at work I use to change fittings on a huge Sunnen Hone. You guys only THINK you get oily at work lol. But even with my hands covered in honing oil those screwdrivers feel nice and tight in my hand and once the screw is free you can still spin it. They are no doubt the perfect screwdrivers.

I use Wera mainly for the #2 Phillips, I was always disappointed that they do not make stubbies (only bits at my local Wera dealer)

If you are working with tiny screws, spinning a Wera on it is much easier than with a square handled Snappy / Williams.

I have never had an issue with their slotted drivers, but I usually go for a Proto for some reason.

The Wera #1 and #2 Robertson hold screws so tight that you have to pull the screw off of the tip sometimes.

I was showing someone yesterday how a JIS bit holds a screw, the Wera held it nearly the same. As soon as I tried an American Phillips, the screw fell to the floor.

If that is your personal tool collection I am GREEN with envy. Very nice.

Did you fabricate all those hangers yourself?

Also I had no idea they made an insulated 1000V version of the bottle opener! I could really use one of those for when I'm drinking with live circuits.

I really like the Wera that I own, they have some weird holes in their lineup though.

Mostly....why don't they make deep sockets?

Jupp they are hanging high on my toolboard:

I've been to stores that aren't as organized as your setup, that is a thing of beauty.

It kind of reminds me of a video of Adam from Mythbusters talking about a pliers rack he built. The overall sentiment of the video is that drawers(in tool boxes) are where tools go to die(get lost/not used).

I think it may come down to not needing deep sockets on european vehicles as much (though someone chime in if that is not the case).

Another positive vote here from the UK for Wera. I have a set of three long screwdrivers and I have been impressed to date with how the tips are holding up, even though I haven't been overly kind to them.

Love my wera screwdrivers, way better than my clear, plastic handled huskys and Klein screwdrivers.
I just wish I could afford to try some of their joker wrenches or sockets

I like the Wera screw drivers that I have. Anyone that I have shown them too are impressed with them.

I also would like the joker wrenches, but just can't justify the price.

Found a set of drivers that have striking caps on them. Much want.
Also, ratcheting driver/bit set. Zyklops ratchets. So much drool factor.
The wishlist... it grows. I wonder how much I need to spend before I can actually make writing off tools on taxes worthwhile?

I tried to find that on youtube, do you have a link?
