I went to a garage sale this morning and they had a Werner bottle jack with handle forsale. The $20 price was more than I was willing to pay and my offer of $15 was turned down.
I was not too disappointed as I had earlier in the year picked up a larger Walker 935. Later at home I pulled out the 935 an discovered it was having issues raising up and making gurgling noises (like air entrapment) when I pushed the ram down with the valve open. It is full of fluid however.
So back to the garage sale I go. This time the seller offered the Walker bottle jack to me for $5 and I purchased it.
The jack has a scraped up decal on the bottle. It looks like the model number is 925 (the last number is partially scratched off).
Does 925 look like the correct model number? If so, does anyone know the load rating for it? From what little I can find on Google I suspect it is a 3 ton.
Also, any rough idea of what vintage it is?
