Picked this set up yesterday from CL, paid $25 for it. It's a Western Giant set, ratchet looks to be made by Bog. It's missing a few of the original sockets, a Craftsman V series, Herbrand, and a couple S-K were being used as the replacements. I'm gonna clean it up, hopefully someday find the missing Western Giant sockets.
Anybody got some spare 1/2" drive Western Giant branded sockets? :D

Someone on here posted some a while back in the SK thread.
Nice set. When I was ratchet hunting a western giant was on my top 10 list of ratchets to find.

I agree on the big production. Sockets are seem to be SK at least the ones I have seen (chrome alloy similar).

Looking for a Plomb 3061 Pebble Open End.

These are marked “Chrome Alloy “ on one side and “Western Giant” on the other. They were made by S-K. I keep them with the Chrome Alloy sockets but I should move them into the Western Giant box.

My WG sockets don't have the crosshatch, and the all say "Western Giant Heavy Duty Tools" on them. I'm wondering if the sockets were also Bog produced, but the Bog sockets I've seen aren't quite the same.

There were bog versions as well, which you appear to have.
