Pretty much what we've been doing for the last month.

I sold my old business building in the industrial park so I had to get the pole building fixed up to use for my business. I was thinking about how to do it but my youngest son stepped and took over. He's pretty good at the construction trade and he also just finished a pole building for the place he works for. I let him go at it.

He built a mezzanine in the back to store my junk, insulated the walls and covered the bottom 8' with OSB, the top 7-8' and ceiling is going to be corrugated steel. We'll probably get that up this weekend. We have all the wires run for the 16 LED shop lights, two ceiling fans, four drop reel power cords and the IR tube heater. Waiting on the heater to come in the next week or two.

We got lucky. We were going to use a scissor lift from the place my son works at but they decided they wanted to sell it so I bought it for $1500. It costs $115/day to rent one so, so far we've had it for over three weeks. When we're done I'll sell it. Pretty sure I'll get what I paid for it. We couldn't have done the work without it.

I'll also be installing my two post lift. I have a 5K forklift so that makes for an easy install. My son and I had it up in my other shop in an afternoon.

Having your son as a worker has got to be nice, my boys are 4 & 1 , so there more play than work.

I would have definitely bought a lift for $1500, mine was $300 for 5 days which I did twice, so not too bad.

My son is a know-it-all PIA most times but he took the project by the horns and is getting it done. He works on it whenever he has time off from work and his girlfriend. I just supply the $$$ and cut the materials. I know he's not doing it as a favor to me, he's going to be in the shop almost as much as I am.

We're in the same boat, damn, it's cold here. This weekend is supposed to be in the low 40s so hopefully we'll get it done this weekend.

Been trying to get in the garage a little with the arrival of spring. Started by doing oil change, fuel filter, water separator, mudflaps, and fender flares on the truck.

Then started organizing some stuff that never really had a place. Still have a ways to go on that project though. :lol_hitti

Still haven't gotten mine done yet. We about 90% of the walls and insulation up. Pretty much have to finish the wall where the two overhead doors are.
