Westinghouse 1BYC Compressor

Hello everybody,
I'm wondering if anybody here knows anything about a Westinghouse 1BYC compressor. I have ran across one, it's pretty rough looking but looks to be all intact. Would it be worth the effort to match it with a 4-5 hp motor and 60 gal tank? Any info is appreciated

I just rebuilt a 1yc, it sounds almost exactly the same, parts were easy to find and it works perfect with A 5hp single phase motor.

What RPM are you spinning it at? Is it reasonably quiet running?

Hi,
I'm in the process of rebuilding the 1BYC model myself. Do you have any manuals, parts diagrams for this unit you could share? My unit came mounted on a 60 gal vertical tanks with GE 1.5 HP motor built in 1950. Any in formation you could share would be greatly appreciated.

I ended up selling my Westinghouse pump to another guy here in town. I do remember that parts were available but I don’t remember the source. I did a google search. Time was a factor so I just bought a new Eaton 32 cfm pump to use in my build.
