I have contacted Westling to try to get us a group buy since one of our other threads had quite a few people expressing interesting in wanting a set of their stuff.

Here is their response.
"Andy,
Yes, we could work out some sort of deal for a group buy. We could offer 10% off, to those who would be interested. We were wondering if some time around labor day would work for you guys, for us to run a sale. Then you guys can spread the word, and we could get some inventory on the shelves. Unless you guys had a better idea, please let me know! I am willing to work with you guys.
Thanks for your interest!
Have a wonderful day!
Pam"

I am excited and I am for sure on board with wanting a set. I just wanted to inform you guys.

You think they would go lower then 10% they offer the sets on ebay for the same price but they have to pay ebay 9% so really it is not a sale for them. Usually companies offer the products cheaper on there website because there are no ebay fees but it looks like some of the sets are cheaper on ebay then there site.

Depending on their seller status ebay fees can vary. My 2 cents, worry less about saving a few extra percent and more about supporting a very small American business that listens to us (sort of...still waiting on westling wrench storage).

With only 700 feedback i am sure they are not catching any seller fee breaks that is reserved for large companies. Not such a good deal for me as i live in MN and have to pay 7% sales tax over the price.

Necessary evil. I feel the same way with everyone squealing like little girls over the Zoro sales when its an automatic 6% drop off the sale percent for me.

I forgot about MN sales tax. I cant say i have ever bought something online from a MN company. Oh well I guess the sale will take care of that.

Just curious if anyone knows about the possibility of Westling making wrench racks.
I wonder what the possibility would be for Westling to fabricate some socket trays designed for impact sockets in time for a Labor Day sale.

I'm down for sure, I just hope they have perfected their anodizing by then so they can offer new colors, I know they're working on it right now.

Bought a full set about a month back and they are great! Would like to get a few more individuals if possible.

Definitely interested!

This was what I received yesterday.

" Good Morning Andy,
Yes, we are all set for a Labor Day sale! As for the new colors we are not sure if we will have them out by then. The wrench racks are currently being made. We are releasing a 1/4" universal as soon as we can get it on the website. We are also coming out with a 3rd plate to the 1/2" sets as well! Just a few things we are going to put out for you guys! Alex is going to apply to your thread here shortly, so it will help answer any questions they may have. Thank you again for all your help!
Please let me know if you need anything else!
Have a wonderful day!

Pam"

One thing I want to mention to people interested in buying the full set is that the SAE and Metric racks are not sized similarly at all. It totally has messed with my OCD and I may end up unloading them because of it. You can't line them up in a row, they end up being all staggered and it doesn't look great. If you store them in a separate drawer it may not be as noticeable.

I guess they did it to save on material, but honestly it just doesn't make sense to me. I know many people are OCD and the fact that I spent $230 on them is upsetting.

They are an awesome product other than my personal gripe.

For the people that asked me about pictures of the issue, it is harder to see in this photo and I can take some others to show it clearer if needed. Basically the 1/2" racks are the same width or depth depending on how you look at them, but the 3/8" and 1/4" ones are way different and it makes them not line up. You get a bit more room, but to me having them not line up is a defect.
