Several years ago I purchased the 1st gen Westling socket organizers. I’m in the market for more socket organizers, so I went to their website. They finally have wrench racks. Before I pull the trigger, do we have any GJ members with any first hand knowledge of these wrench racks? Snapshot was taken from the Westling site.

Those are beautiful but offer no chance for customization: varying the number of wrenches per rack, spacing between the rails... With all of the modular products on the market today, those don't seem to be a very innovative offering. At least the plastic Ernst rails are relatively inexpensive and easy to cut to length.

Interesting, I thought when Westling first talked of wrench racks here years ago, they wanted to make them adjustable to accommodate different sets and box drawer dimensions. Maybe it ended up being too hard to do :dunno:
Wrench organization has come a long way from the classic KRA15 trim to fit wrench rails, to toolbox widgets, to the Ernst/Tekton modular holders, and the unlimited options available from creative tool peeps with access to a 3D Printer. Their Bit Deck appears promising.

I keep reading the title of this thread as "Wrestling Machine".

Trying to envision a Wrestling Machine and it's terrifying. Worse than a Mechanical Bull.

Is this something you'd find in a bar in Midland/Odessa, Texas?

I’m in Odessa often. I’d imagine it would be in West Odessa. 🍻

All the criticism is valid, but these racks, for me, are a bit nostalgic and remind me of the YA381 Wrench Rack. Being made of aluminum and not plastic is the biggest attraction for me.

I dont have experience with that brand but did buy a few aluminum wrench racks a while back they are great except for sliding around a bit when drawer opens and closes. Thinking about adding some velcro to hold them in place (I use some carpet as drawer liners and think the "hook" side will secure them). I can get brand and take a pic if you're interested in comparison.

I have those Hall design wrench wracks. They're nice, but honestly after the Ernst wrench pros, I regret spending so much on them.

The Westlingusa.com wrench racks are 40% off now. I was not impressed when they released them.

On a side note I upgraded my last plastic socket organizer to a blue Westlingusa.com one......... Apparently they changed "blue" since my last order. This was very disappointing! 20260106_165943.jpg

The teal looking one is the one I just purchased.....
