My money says they aren't USA made. I have some westward stubby ratcheting wrenches I picked up on a clearance deal. Decent quality... MIT of course. I'd bet their jacks are similarly sourced.

I recently ordered a Westward 2 ton floor jack, model 3ZC67. When it came I examined it and was suspicious right away about the quality. It was definitely made in China. The wheels had a slight crown in the center and one wheel never would touch the floor no matter where you put it, that showed the frame was warped. The open/shut valve mechanism was two cast spider gears that looked very fragile. I've never saw such a set up before. To me, when a company "specs" something out, it should be made to the specs, not just made into a "knockoff" which is what this was. Most items coming from China look like the real thing, but are never the same in quality! I've since returned it and ordered an American made jack from Hein Werner. Do a lot of searching and you can get a good Hein Werner. If you compare them side by side in pictures you'll notice the quality difference. It's getting harder to find true American made tools anymore.
