Since Sears doesn't sell the sizes you are looking for (no Craftsman available), I would start with garage sales, pawn shops, flea markets, etc. and a list and find some old stock. Pawn shops (or some of the ones I have been in) will carry buckets of sockets at a per piece price, where you might find a decent brand in the size your looking for.

Never seen a decent looking Westward tool yet.

Sorry, missed that part. The pawn shop idea is a good one. Great finds if you are willing to look. I just got back from the pawn shop and did well. Sixty five pieces and out the door for $17.

I was able to get nearly all the sizes I wanted from McMaster Carr. They arrived and are clearly very well made. Just ordered the last few sizes from MSC Direct (these are Blackhawk). Appreciate the good leads from this Forum.
