The saw has been great. Equipped it with a dewalt xp4 blade. I’ve cut a 3/8” thick 12x24 tile for a 9x8 bathroom going up to 8 feet in most of the room. Working on a second bathroom now.
There’s a 2 part video of a guy putting it together. Definitely worth watching as the instructions were not great.
Obviously use the Hf 25% coupon to get it.
The miter gauge is ok for cutting angles. You’re not gonna get great precision.
There is some dripping off the back edge off the saw. I rigged it with a painters tray and that catches most of the water.
I’m definitely happy with it and I generally don’t buy harbor freight stuff.
Lmk what other saws you’re looking at. I’d be interested in who else is competitive.
Ridgid makes a good saw - but I’ve read it shoots lots of water around. Not a big deal if you’re cutting outside.
