What 655.00 brought me this week....

I was waiting for the stuff for a few weeks to be able to scrape up the money and the guy I got them from held them for me... various ratchet kits(ones I asked for), a new/mint F872MP, and new catalog yes I know it is the older one.... Also new 12MM and 8MM deep and shallow sockets to go with the set as it is missing them in the set. This was the 144TMPB set that gave you the free 222AFSMP set and they are new in box and still shrink wrapped... I think it was a great deal 655 shipped to my door. The worst part the 4 sockets were 44 and the ratchet was 55. 11 more than the sockets (makes the ratchet look like a great deal and the sockets are expensive when you don't get them in a set). Oh well, what can you do.

I thought 655 was a good deal for everything.... That was the buy the 1/4 set and get the 3/8 for free....

Pisses me off. I just got that catalog. I will have to BEAT my dealer down for one of the first copies of the new one.

Not a problem. This was the set that came out end of last year so it is old now, but it was hard to find one and one that was new at that.

I got those socket/ratchet sets back when i was in tech school, and still have them in the same cases. They rock.

oddly enough, the 1/4 drive set- the smallest size in there is 5mm stamped on case, but the sockets are actually 5.5mm. at least mine were- its ok i guess, not too often i need a 5mm socket, the 5.5 i use all the time.

That is the spare bedroom/my computer room, and yes the girlfriend I live with is happy I bring them only to the spare room (the tools that is)... She wouldn't like the fact if I brought someone new to the spare bedroom.

That was a deal that was posted on here form the snapon guys around october/november of last year. I had a friend of my search for a set and it he said they were all gone, but managed to find a set, 560 (still new in the box with the plastic still on the cases) for the set was a deal because both new would be about 1117... I think they are all gone, but you can ask around and maybe find a set that wasn't sold. Here are the exact prices on the snap on site.
