What a DIFFERENCE better lighting makes!.....

I am in the midst of my "makeover" of my garage....I tore down the old yard sale special lights (48 in 2 bulb 32w units). I had 6 of them in there previously...today I installed 6 8 foot long 110W 2 bulb units..WHAT A FRIGGIN DIFFERENCE! I am also repainting and the ceiling is going from flat latex to semi-gloss latex for some reflectivity..It sure helps! I am using semi-gloss paint on the walls (two tone with a stripe) white on top, 8 in red stripe a little over half way down and the the bottom three feet a dark grey. The floor is getting the "U Coat It" high gloss poly/resin treatment in granite grey with speckles..all in all it should be much better for seeing!

...And you thought all along that you had failing eyesight issues....
You can't have too much light in the garage...unless you are needing to wear sunscreen and a welding helmet to prevent skin and eye damage...

It looks really nice! I need to get the insulation and sheetrock finished in mine. I have 6 light fixtures in there and it often seems dark. One thing I noticed that you may want to think about is that you have PVC feeding your airhose. PVC has a rep for exploding under pressure and sending plastic shrapnel everywhere. I do know people who have had SCH 40 in there for 20 years with no problems but most guys I know won't run it. I like to run copper with drip elbows. Some guys run black pipe, but it is a pain to fit and is prone to rust. Just a thought while you are redoing things.
