I can't believe I did this. I recently bought a fiberglass resin kit, which was a half gallon of resin, and a half gallon of hardener. I've never screwed around with fiberglass, but plunged ahead and poured out some resin in one paper cup about 1/2 full and poured some hardener in another paper cup same thing 1/2 when I realized that I had to mix them in the one cup, so I poured back in to the near full bottle of resin, the resin cup until I had about 1/3. Then without thinking........ I....... poured back in some of the hardener, into the resin bottle.
I just left the bottle there, didn't mess with it or move it, nothing. I figured that since both bottles are near full, and I only dumped back in about 2 table spoons, I figure the actual site of contamination in the resin bottle will go off and harden enough to where I can surgically remove it tomorrow morning. Or is it totally toast?
