Let me see I was 19 two days ago,but my kids say I am over the hill an old geezer... So I think today I will shoot for being 22 years old ! What do my kids know anyhow to them George Washington sat behind me in the third grade.

I keep telling them it was not George Washington, but rather Moses that sat behind me in third grade...

Amen to that ****.
I have arthritis in my fingers from playing drums and working on junk old cars. My left thumb is worse than the rest, sometimes it does not want to work. I look at the bright side, I'm right handed, but it still ***** to be betrayed by your own body part. And why the hell is it my left thumb, it has the least amount of callus and scars!

Yep, my left hand looks and feels like hell from plain guitar even hough it's been a while and my right hand looks like he'll from wrenching every day. I have more grey hair than people 10 years older than me. Lifes been rough, as long as there's enough beer I think I'll make it.

Golden years ya but I wake ever morn and if I don't see grass roots I drag my **** out of bed and get on with the day. I don't like the other option of getting older, no way.

And hell, when I went to school, had to WALK, UPHILL, BOTH WAYS.
in the snow........

hell when my dad went to school, he had to bike uphill both ways, for 8 miles! (you old fogies can't stop sayin uphill both ways can ya :bounce: )

for the few years my dad went to school, they all walked, or rode a horse, if the horses werent needed for the farm that day
and they didnt have many roads.
by the time the boys were 10-12 years old, they didnt go to school anymore, they worked on the family farm.
dad woulda been 92 this year

29 for one more month then the big 3-0. it doesnt bother me to get older, as i dont feel it. I keep my body in relative good condition and dont smoke/drink/use drugs.

i joke with the older techs at work how they have old man strength. Old man strength is the strength and finesse of experience more or less. with every little trick they teach me or job i perform, i get stronger

example-- there is something that is giving me fits and the older tech comes over, asseses the situation differently and does it in like 2 seconds after i had been f-ing with it for longer period of time. I never lose my temper when working on cars but it can get frustrating at times when you try something to no avail and someone does it in a matter of minutes.

I'll be 23 on Monday. Something I really like about this forum is the range of ages. We get the experience from all ages and walks of life.

i know what you mean baout the left thumb!!

i lost about a 1/4 inch of the tip of my left thumb from trying to put a 30hp electric motor back together.

when i had my helper close the casing, my thumb was still inside a bit, and ****, im on the floor bleeding and being taking to the hospital because i passed out.

so the tip is missing and is numb all the damn time.

and im not suing anyone to get compensated because it was own damn fault.:headscrat
