What age is this SO box?

I'm currently restoring an old Snap On tool chest. It's Canadian made and I bought it secondhand about 10 years ago. I reckon it dates from the seventies. The model number is KC 515A and the serial number is 1B01944. Can anyone advise about date of manufacture? Also, was the Canadian range of toolboxes different from the range made in the USA? The key is missing. The lock number is 6166. Is it possible to get replacement keys or locks for SO boxes?

there should be a date code right next to the SN
SO should be able to get keys, or a replacement lock assy.

Point taken guys. I'm goin to buy one of these fancy fangled new digital camera things and once I've figured how to use it I will get some pics up to the forum.
