What Air Swivel Fitting Do You Use?

I'm looking to purchase an air swivel fitting for my Snap-On MG725 1/2 in. impact and MG325 3/8 in. impact. I will be using them at the diesel shop I work at. I do know that Blue Point and Matco make them. I'm looking for the best, a pair that is not easily susceptible to leaks. Price or brand doesn't really matter. Any advice?

I have to look through my e-mails as I am at work. But I bought fittings just like these made by Cal Hawk and they are great! I got them off ebay from a lovely couple that owns a tool shop in middle of Idaho or Kansas. Buy from them direct vs Ebay they sweeten the deal. I work at a Diesel Shop so its the swivel connector then a air fitting that can handle what my shop runs. Now I would lie and sit there say they will not leak. Some do and some don't, but the leak is not enough for me to disconnect it. Only leaks in certain swivel position but defenitely doesn't effect performance.

I have a few from Blue Point and they are awesome. Don't leak and are well worth the money

I'm in the market and looking for decent swivel air fittings as well. Is this an "any will do" or are there specific brands to go to, or stay away from?

I have a set of masterforce swivels on my brad nailer, narrow crown stapler and framing nailer for about 8 months used every day with a heavy 100ft flexzilla hanging from it 10 to 25' and no leaks yet

i went through a few no make ones that liked to leak after a short while, hinders impacts and air ratchets and really can make a mess with a paint gun. spent some more money on Dynabrade fittings for my air tools and paint guns and have been happy with them so far. its some kind of plastic composite material so i dont know how it will handle being dropped but luckily i havent had to find out yet, i think they also make aluminum ones as well . i'd suggest them

Dynaswivel. Ya, they're $25, no, they don't leak even after years of abuse. I have one on every air tool in the box.

On a side note, I did try the $5 Garbage Freight swivel. I put it on my backup 1/2" IR 2131 that gets a fair amount of use. It hasn't leaked yet, even at 165 psi. The finish isn't that nice, but it works.

What about the swivels that are two fittings connected with a swiveling ball vs the 360 degree swivel fittings?

I am using the HF one professionally as well with no problems so far, I do mostly use cordless tools when possible but when I use the flexzilla hoses for my air tools I have the HF swivel. I bought them on a whim to try as they are inexpensive.

I have the dynaswivels on a few tools. They are convenient and don't leak when used as prescribed. They are however a choke point for airflow. I wouldn't use them on a grinder. IIRC they are stamped Not for Impact Use.

The 1/4" is rated at 25 cfm, which is more than an average rubber 3/8" ID hose can supply. I run a true 1HP Dynabrade long reach die grinder with a 1/4" Dynaswivel and a CEJN 320 (Euro hi-flow, the ones Dynabrade rebrands) series quick fitting (73 cfm cabpable) on a 1/2" ID 50' hose and cannot notice any starving of the grinder. I aslo have a 1/2" Dynaswivel on an IR 1" dr impact with a 3/4" ID whip hose and have no issues. The swivels are desigened to flow plenty of air to any tool with the same sive pipe inlet as the swivel.
