I want to fasten some things in concrete, this is the situation:
I've got a wooden shed with a roof on the side, very similar to a carport.
The roof on the side was originally supported by wooden poles.
I have made metal columns as a replacement, these are each welded on 1/4" baseplates.
These need to be secured to the concrete slab.
The slab in on that place maybe 4" thick (mind, there will be no cars parked there, the roof is just to protect a bench from the rain).
One of the columns will serve for an fence gate to be mounted on.
Will the type on the top right do (size of the screw/bolt: 3/8" or similar)
Or what would be an appropriate way to mount the baseplates/columns?
I prefer not to work with chemical anchors and all-threaded rods, however I'm no expert on this...
Thx for your opinions !
