What are "LD" wrenches?

Found this in a machinists box in an abandoned building.

Says "LD" in a diamond. Open end 17mm and 19mm.

I know the pics are trrrrble. I took them with my computers cam in my basement. But I can make out LD just fine, and I'm not really trying to make art here.

The first picture is just fine. If you cant see the design on there, you need new eyes, not a new pic.

That ones from the early 00's. Quill stem and steel frame, still runs good, and plenty old enough, but not that old. It's my dads. Had to rebuild the rear hub to a new rim. All Sora parts... yuck.

Anyways, I took the first pic so yall could see the label, second pick is just to see the basic shape. Has a kind of weird open end.
