They are little plastic numbers you put on wires to keep track of whats what. I have a few large older machines that are wired with only one color wire, like a lot of old European cars were. These would make troubleshooting so much easier. I could make notions on my schematic of the wire number instead of looking at the pictorial diagram and tracing everything out. Keith

any local electrical supply house has these is several varieties. you can get them in booklets, or multi-roll dispensers. You can get numbers, letters, or colors. You can even get blanks to write your own.
Google 3M wire markers and you'll see all the varieties.

I like the kind that you put under clear heat shrink tubing so they can't come off. I think Pegasus racing sells them.
