What are these for?

Pretty sure they are punches of some kind, but I haven’t seen ones as large. Do these have a specific purpose?

OPs “punches” appear to have squared shoulders. Swaging punches usually have angled shoulders to help expand the tube.

Looks like a shim punch set or transfer punches, if transfer punches they have a center punch point in the center.

You can see the business end of one in the top of the photo. Looks like some spring loaded tabs there. Danged if I know what they're for.
