What are these gauges for?

I figured some of yall may know what these are for. I know it will measure vacuum and PSI, but what would/could it be used for? I have literally about 300 of these things, they are new (many in the box) but have around a while and dusty. I was planning to ebay them if they are worth selling..

vacuum - like you said, mine is the same one.... not sure what else I'd use it for. Tire pressure for the PSI maybe?

I have them on my vacuum tanks for a few of my process lines. They sell at MSC for around $15.

Thanks for the info guys! Will put them on the bay for a couple bux each and see what happens. Wish I could sell big chunks, I dont want 300 separate shipments but oh well, probably the only way.

They'd measure boost just fine but wouldn't be ideal for that because they aren't panel mount.

I could maybe use 3 or 4 of them if I could get them cheap enough

What I'd use them for is a 4 wheeler tire pressure gauge, vacuum testing gauge and put one back for when I get around to building a brake bleeder. Guess I might could use one for a cooling system pressure tester too.

That is about the same scale that was used on old manifold vacuum - fuel pump pressure testers from back in the carb days b4 EFI.

Yours look to be standard 1/8NPT back mount gauges.

List them on ebay as multiple item lots of 10 with a start price of $3 each. That way people can bid on 1, 2, 3, etc, or all 10.

sounds good torque1st, prob. will do that. I need to look, is it better to do lots of 10 or just one big lot of however many I have? Sold some on there, but never done lots.

Matt, I think I can fit about 8 or less in a $5 flat rate shipping box. $2/each plus the $5 shippin, let me know.

They look like pump gauges for a water line. Not sure how to tell from the outside if they are for water or air. I'm most familiar with the water application and these are very typical for small residential or commercial pumping systems. Vacuum for the suction side and pressure for the discharge side. For you guy's that have a water well at your house rather than city water, you will usually find these at your pressure tank where your pump line comes into the house.

But, I see they only go up to 15 psi on the pressure side. Too low for typical residential water pressure.

Too bad they are not 0-30 PSI.....I would take a bunch off your hands at $2/ea.

Because of the connection and range, I suspect air service for some type of process.

These would be ideal as engine diagnostic gauges. Fit them with a hose ******, add some vacuum hose and you have a nice little gauge for troubleshooting engines.

I would not put very many on at a time. It drives the price down. There is usually only so much demand over a given time period. However you could note that more may be available if wanted in your listing.

One of the machines that is manufactured where I work uses a gauge that we buy from US Gauge. They now come in a box that says "Made in China".

They are called Compound gauges because of their ability to read both vacuum and pressure. We used them in the oil industry on distillation columns that we could run under vacuum situations.

Seems like a good gauge for engine manifold vacuum / pressure testing. Seems like a general purpose gauge to me.
