I’ve been organizing my tools and came up with a set of pliers their spring loaded to stay open, but they’re not snap ring,
players.
I assume they’re for some type of maybe electrical connector that needs to be compressed on both sides. I know I bought them for some reason I just can’t remember what?
Not fun getting old!

Like Chipm said. Mine are made by Gearwrench and look just like yours. I use 'em for Honda plastic rivets, like the ones holding the underbody panels.

There's an angled version also. I bought these when Sears was trying to hang on by having countless sales/discounts only to drive themself deeper in the hole. I rarely use them & the one on the right I don't think I've ever used.

Funny, with my current job I deal with plastic push pins quite often yet I never thought to use them for work. Kind of forgot about them but still have no plans to.

There are two styles. The business end of them is the same. The other style doesn’t have the pointy parts on the handle.IMG_5134.jpeg
