Cool. I love unique pliers. Twisting wire maybe? Seems like they would be good at gripping wire (or something with a similar cylindrical shape) held perpendicular to the pliers.

Maybe for roll pins? You could squeeze them closed and tap them in with a hammer.

They would hold a nail too.

Why do you need a specially designed pair of pliers for holding a nail?
Regular needle nose pliers, or flat nose pliers usually work fine.
As do needle nose vise grips.

I wondered the same thing. There are all sorts of ridiculous nail holding gadgets..... for those who shouldn't be allowed to use a hammer if they need to rely on them.
