I have a pressure gauge for testing engine compression and it has a quick release fitting as shown in the pictures below. Does anyone know what this quick release fitting is called? The same fitting appears on most engine compression testers.

Secondly, does anyone know if you can get an adaptor which would plug into this quick release fitting and on the other end has a schrader valve?

Thanks for the link. Any idea if I can get an adaptor that will plug into this coupler with a schrader valve on the other end? I want to test a few gauges with my friends tyre inflation machine that only has a schrader valve fitting. Hence I want a quick coupler to schrader valve adapter

Your best bet may be removing the fitting and using standard pipe fittings to adapt it to schrader.

Rectus 21?

Thanks for your suggestion, it does look very similar. Is Rectus 21 common around the world? Do they typically use it in China? If you are wondering the coupler is off a Diesel Engine Compression test kit. If you search Amazon for Diesel Engine Compression test kits, you will see all the generic Chinese kits use that type of coupler.
